Horse-facilitated work can be
powerful, and people with serious, active mental health issues
benefit most from private sessions.
The workshops preceded by an
asterisk*** are introductory workshops. They fulfill the
prerequisites for further advanced studies with Denise
at Equine Paradigm and with Linda Kohanov and Kathleen
Ingram at the Epona Center.
All
workshops are from 9:00am- 5:00pm, unless otherwise noted.
Registration
includes materials, lunch, water, and snacks, unless otherwise
noted.
2007 Workshop Schedule
***"Trail Rides:Tao &
Zen
April 24-27,2007 at The
Epona Center, Sonoita, Arizona
Begin the connection of
horse and human on the trails at Epona. From the back of your horse,
ride with an experienced Epona Advanced Instructor guide through the
Sonoita desert. Learn to practice Epona method of restoring spirit
and true communication. Your journey includes a generous room in the
newly completed Epona conference center, all meals with our
wonderful chef, and the wonderful Epona staff. Lead facilitator will
be Shelley Rosenberg, Epona Advanced Instructor, assisted by Denise
Moody, Epona Approved Instructor, and Apprentice Dr. Nancy Coyne.
This is an Epona approved beginning workshop, please have some
riding experience before you arrive. The cost is $4,000.00 for four
days of learning the Epona Approach, trail riding everyday, lodging
and meals.
